Faith in Action Project

We are the immigration committee, "The Faith in Action Project" of the parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This committee was formed to organize with the community, so that together, we can work and improve the issues that concern us. We are around 15 members, who want to put our faith into action, to defend the dignity that God has given us. We have the support of our priests and office staff and the San Diego Organizing Project (SDOP). SDOP is a 21-congregational, non-partisan, multi-faith, faith-based organization that elevates the prophetic power of the people, to promote social and environmental justice in San Diego County. To create a place, where everyone belongs and thrives. SDOP, is part of the statewide organization PICO California and national Faith in Action.
